This guy is a Joke! He told the developer/owner that they paid us 50,000 and they had actually paid us 4000! Only to then get fired from the job for stealing! He is trash. I’m hoping that he goes to jail because it is habitual’

I used him for a job and he was the worst. I only hired him for a drywall job and I’m pretty sure the guys he sent to install were newbies. The guys sent out for tape,bed,texture were better but they still did a terrible job overall to fix the existing texture. Every time I would point something out to Johnny to be fixed he would get angry and raise his voice at me. I found Johnny to be very self absorbed and he spoke highly of himself and his vehicle and over and over kept mentioning he lived in Highland Park. I think I was supposed to care and be impressed. But really he was just an ass. TERRIBLE!

He’s done the DFW community dirty on many occasions including his first build which was my home!! I’ve been contemplating on filing a lawsuit against him but I charged it to the game. He did a terrible job with my build and 8 yrs later, I’m still fixing stuff in my home from his poor craftsmanship.

RE: Termination of Contract for 129 Western Ave Due to Performance and Conduct Issues

Dear Johnny,
After much consideration, I am writing to inform you that I am terminating our contract for the
project at 129 Western Ave, effective immediately. This decision has been made due to the
following critical issues:
1. Project Delays: As of today, the project is over four months past the agreed completion
date of March 7th. This extensive delay has resulted in significant financial losses for
me, including tens of thousands of additional holding costs.
2. Budget Overruns: The delays have not only pushed the project timeline but also
caused substantial budget overruns. The additional costs include expenses for redoing
bathrooms that were demolished due to the lack of proper permits being obtained.
3. Lack of Permits and Unlicensed Tradesmen: The project has been plagued by
numerous violations documented by the City of Saginaw, primarily due to the failure to
obtain necessary permits and the use of unlicensed tradesmen. This negligence has not
only delayed the project but also jeopardized its compliance with city regulations.
4. Poor Supervision and Substandard / poor quality workmanship: Your absence from
the job site and failure to supervise the work properly have led to poor quality work
performed by unlicensed tradespeople. This lack of oversight has resulted in numerous
issues that could have been avoided with proper supervision. The work has been
independently evaluated by two different general contractors and has been found to be
substandard and not meeting accepted quality standards. These items have been
repeatedly noted by City of Saginaw officials and not corrected in a timely manner.
5. Unprofessional Conduct: I have documented instances of verbal abuse and personal
attacks from you, both in phone conversations and text messages. This unprofessional
behavior has made an already stressful situation even more difficult. Despite my
patience and attempts to refrain from taking legal action, your continued lack of
professionalism and failure to prioritize this project have left me with no other choice.
Today I spoke with both the plumber and the City of Saginaw and they confirmed you
called the City Inspector lead “a piece of shit”. The Master Plumber expressed
significant concerns about your behavior, poor quality standards and cutting corners, and
lack of concern about clear water leaks in one of the bathrooms. You have also been
verbally aggressive, hostile, and inappropriate to me during the course of this project.
Due to these issues, I no longer have confidence in your ability to complete the project to
the required City of Saginaw standards. Therefore, effective immediately, your services
are no longer required. Please cease all work on the property immediately.

I have retained an attorney to represent me in this matter. I will not be
communicating directly with you moving forward. Any further communication
from you or your representative regarding this matter should be addressed to:
